UN-REDD PRPGRAMME: Six African Nations Agreed to Protect Congo Basin
Six African nations have agreed with donors on a plan to protect the tropical forests of the Congo basin, the second biggest in the world after the Amazon's, to help ease poverty and combat climate change -- with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

NASRDA Announces Occurence of Lunar Eclipse
The National Space Research and Development Agency NASRDA, says Nigeria will experience a Lunar Eclipse on Sept. 28th. Lunar eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when the earth comes in-between the sun and the moon, and the earth casts its shadow on the moon, so that the moon appears reddish.
A statement by the agency which was signed and released yesterday September 9th by the Deputy Director. Media and Corporate Communications, Felix Ale, says the lunar eclipse would begin on Monday September 28th from 1:11am, and will be at its maximum by 3:47 am, with its final contact at 6:22am.

Google Earth Pro is now Free! Why the excitement?

After some years i discovered some drawbacks of Google Earth, hence the need to purchase Google Earth Pro which costs a whooping sum of $400.
Guess what? Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:31 AM, Google announced through their blog "Google Earth Pro is now free"
